This Credit guide provides you with information about our services and those of our representatives. It contains information about various fees and charges that may be payable by you to us, as well as about certain commissions we may receive from a licensee when we are acting as a credit representative, or we pay to certain third parties. It also contains information about what you should do if you have a complaint or dispute in connection with our services as a credit representative.

What we need from you:
Under current NCCP regulations we are required to ensure that any loan we assist you in obtaining is not unsuitable to yourself. To ensure this we are required by law to make reasonable inquiries and verify that:

If we assist you in obtaining or applying for credit you may ask us for a copy of our credit assessment at any time within 7 years of us providing you with assistance.
Fees and Charges:
We may charge a fee for providing you with credit assistance. This fee will be disclosed prior to submitting your loan documents to a lender. There are no other fees charged to you by us. You may be liable for other fees such as application fees to the Lender. These fees are not payable if finance is not approved.
You should review your loan documents for details of any other fees or charges that may be applicable.
Commissions we may receive:
We may receive commissions from Lenders who provide finance to you as our customers. These commissions are not paid by you. You may obtain reasonable information from us of these commissions and how they are calculated. We may also receive Volume Bonus’s from lenders based on the volume of business we provide them.
Commissions we may pay:
We source clients and referrals from a variety of sources. At times we may pay a fee to third party for referring business to us. These fees or commissions are generally small amounts and are not paid by you. You may obtain reasonable information from us of these fees or commissions and how they are calculated.
Complaints and Disputes:
We endeavour to provide you with the best service possible, however if we fall short you can let us know by contacting our Complaints Department as follows:
Please feel free to mention to any of our representatives that you are unhappy with our service. We strive to resolve all complaints promptly and professionally and avoid any unnecessary escalation of minor complaints.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint you may refer it to an ASIC approved external dispute resolution scheme. This is a free service to provide you the consumer with an independent third party to assist you in resolving specific complaints.

We do not make any guarantees regarding the current or future value of any vehicle, product or service that we assist you in obtaining finance for. It is recommended you make your own enquiries if you are unsure of the value of a vehicle, product or service.
We are unable to and do not provide financial or legal advice. It is important that you ensure you are aware of and understand your legal obligations under the finance obtained and any financial consequences as a result of obtaining finance.
If you are unsure, it is highly recommended you obtain independent financial and legal advice prior to entering into a contract for finance.

This document is a quote and provides information about fees you have agreed to pay us for our services.
Service to be provided
We will attempt to arrange the loan as requested by you.
Maximum Fee or Charge Payable by You to Us
If we successfully obtain an approval for the loan you require and the loan settles, you must pay us a fee for our services. This service fee will be listed on the loan documents and included in the loan amount and will not exceed a maximum of $1320.00(Incl. GST). The providing lender will then reimburse Fastlane upon settlement.
The fee is payable once only and is payable in full if the loan is settled. There are no other fees and charges payable by you to us, however you may also be liable to pay fees to the lender direct.
Acknowledgement and Agreement
I/We acknowledge that I/We have read and fully understand the contents of this document. I/We also acknowledge and agree that I/We will pay you the above fee for your services if the loan is approved. I/We understand that the fee will be included in the loan amount and paid to Fastlane Finance on settlement. I/We understand that if we are approved and decide not to proceed the fee is payable by me/us direct to Fastlane Finance.
I/We further acknowledge and consent to receive this quote and any additional disclosure documents such as a Credit Guide and/or a Credit Proposal by electronic communication means. This consent is given on the understanding that paper disclosure documents may no longer be given to me/us and that I/We must regularly check electronic communications for such documents. I/We also understand that I/We may withdraw consent to receive these disclosures at any time by contacting you at the above contact details.
Fast Lane Finance Pty Ltd, ACN 169 504 698, ACL 463 804 (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’) collects Personal Information about you for the purposes in this Privacy Disclosure Statement and Consent (‘Consent’). When you sign below, you agree we can, subject to Australia’s privacy, credit reporting laws, and this Consent, collect, hold, use and exchange Personal Information about you for these purposes. Personal Information will not be disclosed to any other person except with your permission, or as permitted by law
What is Personal Information?
‘Personal Information’ under the Privacy Act 1988 includes information about you from which your identity is apparent or can be reasonably identified, and includes your personal details and contact information. It also includes credit information such as your credit history (including information about your past experiences with us and other lenders, the kinds of credit products you have had or sought, how you have managed your obligations, information contained in a credit report about you, and information about your credit worthiness based on a credit report about you) for the purpose of seeking a quote for the cost of credit from a credit provider, and to arrange for the establishment of a credit account. Plus, it may include your driving and insurance history.
Should you provide us with Personal Information about another person, such as a spouse or co-worker, you acknowledge that you are authorized to do so and agree to inform the person that we have collected their Personal Information as part of this application, as well as advise them of the contents of this Consent.
Why we collect your Personal Information
We are collecting Personal Information about you, as applicable:
If we cannot collect and use your Personal Information, or are unable to verify your identity, we may be unable to process your application.
We are required by the Anti-Money Laundering and CounterTerrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) to identify you, and by the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 to collect Personal Information about you to learn about and verify your financial situation.
Disclosures – General
We may disclose or exchange your Personal Information with potential lenders and the issuer of any insurance products for which you are applying. We may also exchange your Personal Information with others to verify that it is correct (for example your employer), our related body corporates, assignees, agents, contractors and external advisers; organisations for verifying your identity; your agents, advisers, guardians or attorneys; law enforcement, regulatory and government bodies; anyone who introduces you to us; any person we consider necessary to execute your instructions; persons with whom you make a joint application; any financial institution to or from which a payment is made in relation to your application; and debt collection agencies.

Disclosures – Credit Providers
We may submit your application to one or more credit providers. Please refer to the “Our Lenders” section in the Credit Guide document for the list of credit providers we may use.
We may undertake tasks that are reasonably necessary to the application process. We will assist in managing the application process with a credit provider.
If a credit provider holds credit eligibility Personal Information the provider, must, on request by an access seeker, such as Fast Lane Finance, share that Personal Information with the access seeker.
If you have any questions about any of our credit providers’ privacy or credit policies, you should visit their website. If your application proceeds with a particular credit provider you will be asked again for your consent to collect and use your Personal Information by that credit provider.
